This course is specially developed, for C/Es, 2/Es & ETOs,
keeping in mind the technological advances happening in the Merchant Naval
Ships, by way of Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interface,
SCADA, Variable Frequency Drives, Encoders, Digital Process Controllers (PID),
Smart Digital Instruments, etc. The course includes extensive practical
exercises & demonstration of varied instruments, Digital Process
Controllers, PLC & HMI systems. Course Participants are taken through practical wiring up of PID Control systems, Calibration of Positioners,
Siemen's SIPART Initialization, and a whole lot of Instrumentation Systems. This
is five-day intensive practical course to bring up analytical and trouble
shooting skills on Modern Automation & Control Systems on-Board present-day Ships.
