Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre we strongly believe that Training of the
ship staff is one of the most critical factors in achieving safe, economical,
and profitable operation of a vessel.
The Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre (AEMTC) in Mumbai is certified under
the D.N.V.'s Quality Assurance rules for certification of Maritime Training
providers and Simulator Centre. It is the first training Centre in India and
fifth in the world to have achieved this distinction. These rules cover all
relevant parts of ISO 9001 requirements.
In 2007, AEMTC became the 2nd training Centre in the world to undergo a
rigorous benchmarking audit by DNV where it came out with flying colours,
obtaining a 'distinction' grade.
The
Training Centre is also involved in making company specific and bespoke
training programs. It has a fully developed Learning Management System and a
Competence Management System. It has developed Structured Shipboard Training
Record Books for Cadets and Trainees which is being marketed by GlobalMET.
The Learning Management System (LMS) has over 150 titles of E-Learning courses
and also a Micro-learning portal.
AEMTC successfully developed and delivered a comprehensive Safety Training
Program for the Ship Recycling Industry at Alang, India.
AEMTC is recognised as a superior
maritime training centre and a pioneer in maritime education and training and
remains at the forefront of technology and training field.

Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) and requirements of Flag State Administrations,
